Tyger - Enoree Mission Statement

To promote the Health of the Rivers.

#1 By discouraging litter. General litter pick up and awareness along the rivers.  Those using the rivers and corridor are asked to first, “leave only foot prints.”

#2 By ensuring water quality. Monitoring the quality of the water in our rivers.

#3 By encouraging the planting of trees and protection of the plants of the     Watershed.

#4 By protecting aquatic life. Fish, reptiles amphibians, waterfowl and aquatic plants are important indicators of the health of the river.

#5 Being active advocates, socially for the river's health.

#6 By promoting public awareness of the river's special value and the ways in which they can be protected.

#7 By ensuring that the river remains free flowing and unhindered. Its health can not be maintained otherwise.  Without free natural movement,  the river's immune system is compromised.

#8 By potentially considering for these rivers wild and scenic status or some  less rigorous designation.
